Gigantic insect lands on James Rodriguez shortly after scoring for Colombia

James/Hamez Rodriguez scored his sixth goal of the 2014 World Cup during Colombia's 2-1 loss to Brazil, bagging a consolation from the penalty spot in the 80th minute.

There has been a lot of metaphorical weight on the 22-year-old's shoulders during the tournament, but there was quite literally more weight on him when a gigantic insect landed on his arm while celebrating his spot kick.

The green creature might have been a cricket, a locust or another of Brazil's 70,000 insect species. Either way, Rodriguez didn't seem to notice its presence.

However, at this point, DT is not ruling out the possibility that the Colombian star deliberately invited the insect to accompany him as a Jiminy Cricket-style sidekick, in order to promote a forthcoming series of children's animated movies about a young boy who scored a bunch of World Cup goals and tremendously inflated his transfer value. source:yahoo.com
